/ SINGAPORE.
A warm tropical blue (#A2CDE3) is the eternal island summer in Singapore — where lush greenery hides between sleek skylines and monsoon skies glow with quiet humidity.
Birds Stayed
I spent nearly two years living on this island of eternal summer, seeing it through the eyes of a landscape designer.
If I were to imagine what a future megacity might look like, it would be like Singapore — a place where people work, live, shop, and enjoy the rains and the sun. A home for those who truly love cities.
Despite its humid, equatorial climate — seemingly unfit for dense urban life — this small Southeast Asian island has grown into a striking global metropolis.
Here, every square meter is carefully considered. In Singapore, everything is a delicate balance: between buidings and greenery, between faiths and cultures, between efficiency and softness in transport systems.
For many questions our future cities must face — how to manage harmony between growth and sustainability? How is a new language born out of the fusion of different cultures? — Singapore is definately an intriguing place to begin.
